All color film is processed via our Noritsu V30P. We clean the machine thoroughly daily and regularly check the freshness of the developing agents to ensure that old chemicals or dirty components never risk damaging or impacting your film negatively.
All black & white film is developed in house via our Jobo ATL1500 rigged up to a 4 stage water filtration system to ensure absolute purity and next to no residue on your film.
All film is scanned by our Noritsu HS-1800 and Fujifilm Frontier SP3000 scanners - industry leading machines, each with their own unique look.
Our darkroom is fully equipped with two DeVere 504 enlargers and a Colenta RA-4 processor, allowing for both black & white and RA-4 color printing. All prints Whether you’re using fibre or RC paper, we’ve got the tools to make prints with precision. Our RA-4 chemistry is carefully calibrated by Fujifilm every week, ensuring consistent top tier quality every time.
Once the final print is achieved, it can be scanned on our Epson Expression 11000XL, which outputs high-quality digital files alongside your physical handprints.
You will be able to rent the darkroom for private sessions. We primarily offer bespoke printing services where we handle everything, enabling you to spend more time shooting!
Can I buy a film from you?
Absolutely. We stock a variety of films in the lab, all available at wholesale prices. Just to clarify - we don’t profit from selling films. Our goal is to help you keep shooting without breaking the bank.
Are push and pull processes available for film?
Yes. For colour film, we can push up to 3 stops and pull up to 2. For black & white, the range depends on the film stock and format, but as a general rule we also push up to 3 stops and pull up to 2. If you’re working with a specific type of film, feel free to reach out and ask.
Is it possible to meet the printer directly?
Definitely. Get in touch with us to schedule a one-on-one appointment.
Do you handle disposable camera development?
Yes, we process both black & white and colour disposable cameras.
Can you develop expired or old rolls of film?
We’re happy to handle any expired or forgotten film you’ve got. Just note that older film tends to degrade, which can result in colour shifts or base fog-though these issues are often correctable in the scanning stage.
Do you develop E-6 slide film?
We do, but it’s outsourced due to limited demand. Turnaround time is around two weeks. Our partner lab is a top-tier E-6 facility that uses dip-and-dunk processors.
Is there a discount available for students?
Yes! Students receive a 15% discount on services.
How long does film processing take?
Timelines vary depending on the volume and type of film, but we’ll confirm your turnaround when we receive your order.

Do you use any specialised black & white developers?
We typically use Kodak D-76 for B&W processing, but we also offer a variety of special developers upon request. These do come with an extra fee, so get in touch if you’re interested.
What happens if my roll comes back blank?
If a roll turns out blank or is drastically over/underexposed, our tech will let you know. You’ll only be charged for the film processing-any scanning or printing services linked to that roll won’t be charged.
How do I receive my digital scans?
We deliver your files via WeTransfer. Keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder just in case). For larger orders, we’ll ask that you provide a hard drive.
